At Shop Scott Living, we believe that giving back and doing what we can to help those around us is incredibly important.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is near and dear to Jonathan and Drew Scott. When they were younger, the brothers spent time volunteering at the oncology ward of a nearby children’s hospital. In recent years, and with a sizable public following, the Property Brothers have made St. Jude a central part of their philanthropic efforts.
Jonathan and Drew have long been vocal and active in their support for St. Jude, helping to spread word of the hospital’s campaigns, including the Thanks and Giving Holiday Campaign. As he did when he was a young volunteer, Jonathan performs magic for boys and girls fighting life-threatening illnesses, in hopes of entertaining them and raising their spirits.
In 2017, Drew and Jonathan recorded a country cover of “My House” by famed American rapper Flo Rida. From the start of the project, the Scott Brothers had St. Jude in mind and donated 100% of the revenue generated from the song to the children’s hospital. Part of what drew the brothers to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the fact that families never receive a bill for treatment, allowing these families to focus solely on what is of utmost importance: helping their loved ones battle their illnesses and get on the path to recovery.
